The Scottish BookApart from the more official meetings of the local sections of the Mathematical Society (which took place Saturday evenings, almost every week!), there were frequent informal discussions mostly held in one of the coffee houses located near the University building - one of them a coffee house named “Roma” and the other “The Scottish Coffee House”. This explains the name of the collection. A large notebook was purchased by Banach and deposited with the headwaiter of the Scottish Coffee House, who, upon demand, would bring it out of some secure hiding place, leave it at the table, and after the guests departed, return it to its secret location. Zygmunt GorazdowskiZygmunt Gorazdowski After finishing high school in Przemysl he enrolled in the faculty of law in Lviv. At the end of his second year of law studies he decided to enter the Latin Catholic Seminary in Lviv. Fr Zygmunt Gorazdowski died in Lviv on 1 January 1920. Best investor for Euro 2012 stadium in Lviv

Lviv city executive committee to choose best investor into Euro - 2012 stadium in Lviv
The stadium should be 33 hectares large and provide seats for 33,000 spectaculars and 1,200 parking lots, hotels with 200 rooms and other objects.

The competition is open for any juridical body irrespective of location, legal form and properties. The investor should provide guarantees of 100 M. Euros. The projects should be drafted by June 1, 2008. The deadline for applications is December 18, 2007 with further consideration on the next day. Interest in construction of the stadium in Lviv was stated by companies of Switzerland, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic and USA.
