St.Andrew Church

 The clock on the complex of ex-monastery of the Bernardine Order next to St.Andrew Church belfry shows the time ahead for 5 minutes of other clocks in the Lviv. When Lviv was in encirclement of the Bohdan Khmelnutskij army, the monk from the belfry of the Bernardine monastery saw the Kmelnitskij’s kozaks sooner for 5 minutes than a soldier from Town Hall Tower. After that incident the special privilege had been granted to the Bernardine monastery – the clock on their belfry shows the time ahead for 5 minutes of other clocks in the Lviv.
