St.Andrew Church
The clock on the complex of ex-monastery of the Bernardine Order next to St.Andrew Church belfry shows the time ahead for 5 minutes of other clocks in the Lviv. When Lviv was in encirclement of the Bohdan Khmelnutskij army, the monk from the belfry of the Bernardine monastery saw the Kmelnitskij’s kozaks sooner for 5 minutes than a soldier from Town Hall Tower. After that incident the special privilege had been granted to the Bernardine monastery – the clock on their belfry shows the time ahead for 5 minutes of other clocks in the Lviv. The Cathedral is impressive for its beauty and grandeur. It was laid down in 1360. Its first architect was Peter Stetecher. The Cathedral took over one hundred years to build and was finished in 1481. 
It is famous for its stones, grown dark with age. Its construction was started in 1588, three years after Italian (Venice) Patio was built next to Black Stone House by architect Peter of Barbone for Greek merchant, Constantine Kornyakt.
